Full collection route
Finish the story, then sweep
Duskfade gates several pickups behind traversal abilities you unlock by progressing the story (double-jump, dash, grapple, glide, rail-grind and story abilities like the String Attack and Stopwatch power). The efficient route is therefore a story-first pass followed by a single post-credits cleanup sweep:
- Play through the story, grabbing anything reachable on the way.
- After the credits, sweep each region in path order: Opening hub → Volcano → Sea → Hills → Desert.
- Return every Music Box to Arpeggio at the Inn, and clear Wally's hiding spots.
- Max the health bar (Clock Heart Pieces) and Temporal Energy bar (Star Core Fragments), then empty the Traveler's shop (Upgrade Gears + Crystals) for Shopaholic.
- Finish the card collection (N1-C0ins) and find the Rainbow Ingots and Broken Stained Glass for the remaining trophies.
Nothing on this list is permanently missable: after the final boss and Tower escape, free roam and fast-travel stay available so you can collect everything you skipped.
Outside the counter
Shop, story & lore items
- Tick Town shop: Tick Town shop (next to the Fast Travel Point) sells 2 Flasks of Dye and 2 Rainbow Ingots.
- Story Music Boxes: A few Music Boxes are granted automatically through the story; finish the story before turning everything in to Arpeggio at the Inn.
- Lore: A Tanion’s Diary lore pick-up appears in Clockwork Academy alongside a Broken Stained Glass; it is a narrative item and is not counted in the collectible totals.
